God rains fire and brimstone down
Upon two cities, upon two towns
From their sins they would not turn
God passed judgment, they would burn
The people had unnatural desires
Their flesh and sins were destroyed by fire
And in this act God was justified
For His Son was not yet crucified
The sins of those cities are rampart today
All around the world, in every way
Some say God should move again
And bring these sins to an end
Else to these two cities give apology
But that’s just man’s theology
To intervene now, God would not be justified
For since that time God’s Son was crucified
At the cross Jesus’s work was completely finished
The work He has done will never diminish
All of our sins were nailed to the tree
Past, present, and future, the truth we must see
All judgment for sin, Jesus bore at the cross
And we born in sin, would have been lost
Since Jesus’s birth, death, and resurrection
As Christians we now receive correction
Those two cities were before the laws
The Law of sin and death for sure
To understand the why and reason
You must account for time and season
Consider time and place in history
JESUS, before or after His story
For Sodom and Gommorah, God will not apologize
Cause in that time in history, He was justified
