A love one’s death is sometimes unexpected

Their presence gone, and we try to except it

You feel like you’re moving in the Twilight Zone

Trying to face reality , you are not all alone

As days go by, the fog begins to lift

The death of a love one has caused our lives to shift

We try to resume our lives, and do our very best

But with the absence of a love one, it has become a test

We stop and think about the lives that we are living

Maybe even think about all that we’ve been forgiven

What is our purpose of living here on earth

I know before we die, we need Jesus and rebirth

Thinking about a death may cause us to ponder

Experiencing a death, can make us grow somber

It’s during these times we seem to forget

We have eternal life, Jesus conquered death

Death is not the end, it’s really a new beginning

Going through death’s door , starts eternal life in Heaven\

I see death as a wake-up call for all mankind

Will you wake-up with Jesus, or in Hell be left behind

What is “church hurt”

What is its cause

Is it selfishness in action ?

Or is it just a Godless pause

Are we so focused on ourselves

That we forget to follow Christ

Do we let emotions cloud our view

And lose our faith in what is right

Changes in our lives will come and go

But in every circumstance in life

It’s Jesus’s love we want to show

For it’s the only thing to remove all strife

Don’t let our agendas pre-empty God’s plans

Eleven days, or will it take forty years

Prayerfully, prayerfully know where you stand

Are we walking in love, or blinded by tears

We can not be of one mind and on one accord

If our goals are in different directions

Our pathway was laid out by Jesus our Lord

When we wander off the path, let’s make corrections

You need to know your adversary

You need to know the sin he carries

You need to know his tactics and schemes

You need to know he’ll destroy your dreams

You need to know you are in a fight

You need to know it’s for your life

You need to know Satan’s facades

You need to know the Word of God

You cannot fight what you can’t see

But you can fight on bended knees

The spiritual realm is where to fight

We fight by faith and not by sight

You need to know to whom you belong

You need to know who makes you strong

You need to know the God you serve

You need to know His every word

You need to know and be aware

It’s Jesus’s righteousness you wear

Satan is subtle and tries to deceive

In Jesus’s victory trust and believe

Walk by faith and not by sight

Walk with Jesus, surrounded by light

Walk in truth and honesty

Walk not moved by what you see

Walk not after silver and gold

Walk not with the worldly fold

Walk the straight and narrow way

Walk in peace from day to day

Walk in bold and mindful strides

Walk with Jesus by your side

Walk through walled up waters deep

Walk in strength upon your feet

Walk together on one accord

Walk and carry a powerful sword

Walk into a battle already won

Walk with the victory song now sung

Walk by the blood of the precious Lamb

Walk with the Son of the great I AM

Walk always smiling and of good cheer

Walk in the presence of one so dear

Walk at an even and steady pace

Walk, don’t run to finish this race

Walk, for the battle was fought along ago

Walk in obedience, it’s Jesus you show

Walk, never stopping to gather up things

Walk through the trials that life always brings

Walk with your eyes ever resting on Him

Walk by faith when the pathway seems dim

Walk by faith and never by sight

Walk with Jesus in eternal life

It is a new year

But the same God

We make resolutions

God gave us revelations

Reading new books

The Bible is old and new

New year, new beginnings

Same God, another chance

New year, new promises

Same God, same promises

Thankful for a new year

Thankful for the same God

God is the same

Yesterday, today, and forever

Praise Him anew

The month of December

Is filled with good cheer

Taking time to remember

Our Savior’s birth this year

There are lots of things to do

To get us all prepared

With the manger scene in view

No expenses will be spared

The joy is so contagious

It spreads through out the air

And people seem more gracious

And more willingly to share

All of that is well and good

But why just for a season

Keep it with us as we should

To last all year is the reason

Let’s celebrate Jesus’s birth

Today and the whole year through

Remembering He came to earth

The gospel it is true

His birth, death, and resurrection

The purpose for His life on earth

To pay the price for man’s salvation

To be the author of our rebirth

God’s prophecy manifested

To us on Christmas Day

Our salvation, to Him entrusted

He came to show the way

So let’s keep this joy alive

Through out the coming year

Know that if we try

We can keep the season here

A baby born in Bethlehem

Would grow to be the Son of Man

Died on a tree to set us free

He has fulfilled God’s prophecy

How do these things just come about

It’s not by chance, I have no doubts

He made the heavens and the earth

He spoke and made the universe

No, our existence is not by chance

Our life the love of God enhance

The sun will rise and set each day

Why is that, what makes it so

Days they all turn into nights

And nights back into days they go

The earth moves ’round and ’round the sun

And makes the seasons change

It does not happen by mistake

It’s all been pre-arranged

God sent His Son to die

A ransom for us all

If you want the blessed life

Then on Jesus’ name just call

You can not see Him with the naked eye

He is not a fake, He is not a lie

There is evidence of Him for our sake

And to understand, faith is all it takes

The things we see and touch are real

We live our lives on what we feel

But there is more than meets the eye

It’s Heaven or Hell when you die

These are places for our spiritual souls

Where will you go when God calls the roll

Things don’t just happen by accident

Plans were made before the events

Jesus is Lord of all creation

Share His word with every nation

The Bible tells us about His story

Tell someone you meet about His glory

He is the same from day to day

Let His light shine to show you the way

He is the shepherd, the shepherd good

Share Him around your neighborhood

Take His word from door to door

Don’t keep Him to yourself, share Him more

Just as He is there for you

Show His love to someone new

Jesus gave His life for many

Laborers are few, but the harvest plenty

So we must go out and do our share

To spread God’s word from here to there

We know not whom we may reach

When the Good News we begin to teach

For God gave us His only Son

To save all people, not just one

Take Jesus with you where ever you go

That through your life the world will know

Jesus is alive and He lives in you

All who come to Him will be made new

So share the Word each and every day

Give others hope and together pray

They come to know Jesus this very day

The birth of our Savior was like no other birth

A part of the Triune God would now be born on earth

He would be one-hundred percent God and one-hundred percent man

And on the Laws of God, it was only He that could stand

His birth would be exceptional, for His mother knew no man

The Holy Spirit came to her, for it was at God’s command

The baby grew inside her womb as human babes all do

For Him to represent us, He must be human too

He was nurtured by His earthly parents, and grew to be a man

The purpose of His life, they would come to understand

For He grew up a human and all that it entails

And to fulfill His purpose, He lived through each detail

He fulfilled the Laws of God and became that perfect lamb

The ultimate sacrifice before the GREAT I AM

He paid a debt He did not owe to free us from our sins

We could not pay or break free from the sins we were drowning in

And so He gave His perfect life as a ransom for us all

He willingly laid down His life to restore us from the fall

He is the only Savior, the one way for salvation

All who will accept Him, will become a Holy Nation
